Spaceshot at Illinois Space Society 2024
By far the largest rocketry group on campus recaps on a successful year of accomplishments. The team has hand-crafted multiple rockets that have taken to the skies and reached astounding heights of tens of thousands of feet. Designing, constructing and integrating these travelers is no easy feat, requiring contributions of not only aerospace students, but also electrical, software and systems engineers. Surmounting numerous challenges, the team aspires to build even larger and more ambitious rockets to one day reach space.
