Micro-G at Illinois Space Society 2024
Within the span of one school year, the Micro G Team has successfully constructed a working design that is intended to be used by astronauts during EVA's on future missions to the moon. Considering limitations in astronauts' movement and the difficulty and infeasibility of transporting a large set of tools in low gravity while wearing bulky spacesuits, the design is meant to ease the foundational work that will support future civilization on the lunar surface and in other low-gravity environments.
