Science Communication (SciComm)

What is SciComm?

The Science Communication (SciComm) team is a group within ISS Educational Outreach. The overall purpose is to maintain inspiration from EdOut and grow tangible activities that can be done beyond one-day visits or events and continue to ‘communicate science’ outside the classroom. Currently, over the school year, we do this through a STEM/space children’s writing and drawing competition. Prizes before have included legos, science kits, and gift cards! We aim to continue growing and create content like books, visuals, or games, to retain engagement past the classroom environment.
